Final Project - Variations on Water

My inspiration for this assignment came from a quote I recently read by artist John Howe. He said, "I spend all of my time being shocked and delighted at how beautiful things can be - light, waves, rocks, faces, architecture, stories, music, whatever. All this beauty makes me feel vulnerable, because it's perfection far beyond what I can hope to render, but it also makes me burn to try."

I completely agree with him, and decided to try to capture my fascination with something as simple as water in several of its variations. I chose to play with water in many different forms and photograph it in an up-close, abstract way to show it's beauty from a unique perspective.

Rach, these are beautiful! With almost all of them I kept thinking, " How did she do that?"
